Young Scientist Challenge Now Open - Four More Weeks to Enter

Students in Grades 5-8 Can Enter Today for a Chance to Win $25,000

There's only four weeks left to enter the Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge - do you have what it takes? To enter the Challenge, students in grades 5-8 must submit a 1-2 minute video on one of this year's entry topics. The grand prize winner will take home $25,000 and the coveted title, America's Top Young Scientist.

New this year, 10 finalists will have an exclusive opportunity to work directly with a 3M scientist during a summer mentorship program. Each finalist will also receive a trip to the 3M Innovation Center in October to compete in the final event and present their innovation.
